I tried moving the channel and looked at all the wifi networks near me.
I am the only one on that channel. I also installed interference
robutness on the time capsule. Tested it and the sound still
stutters...

Yeah, and the majority of stations on Shoutcast are probably short-lived
anyway, so there is not really anything they can do to fix the problem
on their end. Maybe they could do something like Live365 does and send
you to an audio error like This station is no longer broadcasting.

The scrollwheel on my SBC seems very loose. It doesn't have any
friction at all and it makes it difficult to control
I read in the developer forums that this was a problem with some early
builds. Do all of the SBC's ship with such a loose wheel or is mine
defective?

For anyone finding this thread in a search later, looks like the problem
is flakey wireless in XP as it was fine wirelessly in Vista it works
fine with the laptop hard wired to the router / SB3 still wireless.
Problem solved anyway.

Mine is a launch unit and it has almost no resistance. I think that's how
it's designed to be however and

Still getting the blue icon occasionally. Perhaps it now is able to
reconnect slightly better, but there are still long periods of
unresponsiveness.

Anyone found problems with artwork thumbnails disappearing on the

Certainly sounds like an issue with the Primare - interesting because I

Is there any way to configure the new SqueezeCenter to run as a system
service? Currently, my computer has to be logged in for SqueezeCenter
to run. This caused me a problem last night when my computer
automatically rebooted because of Windows Update. Because it didn't
log in
To whoever asked about finding album art on a Mac--I use Cover Scout
which cost $10. Very useful tool and it has found all my missing covers
and relocated all album art from iTunes into the XML file.

There's a little installation utility to install the service.
Start Programs SqueezeCenter SqueezeCenter Startup options
You can skip the entering of a username and password and it will run as
the local SYSTEM account, like SlimServer did.

I received my DUET system on Monday and have been monitoring it's signal
strenght compared to my SB3. The SB3 is about 30 feet away on the same
level as my wireless router and I placed the SBR about the same

were only 17 pixels high and were for my SB1. I am now using the
attached 33 pixel height font. I find it much better for viewing time

Today, one of my SB3's decided, as it sometimes does, to lock into the
wrong access point. It's signal strength then was going as low as
12%. But, it worked fine. Until I tried to sync it with my other SB3.
Then all sorts of trouble.
So it may be that sync mode is somehow less tolerant of

I mentioned in another thread that the Controller SNR for me gets up
around 50 if I'm close to the access point, dwindling linearly down to
20 as I get 50 ft. and a few rooms away. JimC suggested that this was
low, and I want to tweak stuff around, but need to know what I'm aiming
for.

i had to reset some options after 2178, like player sleep mode, but i
also had done a factory reset.
i would recheck all the settings, (all the power ones like screen saver
etc) are not all in the same place.
also, the card idea is cool, and i agree the SBC should give you the
option to

Isn't that the Like a Virgin sacrifice? (And you shouldn't use a
