there is an 'easy to do' upgrade, when
they just mix their known products (i.e. Boom II) or just upgrade them
(i.e. Touch II).
At least on the software side they don't need to do much - it's just
the hardware guys that are asked to provide new casings.
I'd bet on Boom II.

one or two weeks ago (don't know
exactly when it started, but first reports arrived only this week).
Running 7.6 or 7.5 nightlies can break SqueezePad any day (even if it
worked quite good so far).

to your AppleTV or Airport Express.
So if you have a Laptop in you holiday flat where you can install the
Squeezebox-Server and then connect SqueezePad to that server (opposed
to directly to MySB.com) it would work.

The scrolling problem are caused, because the App is actually only a
HTML site running fullscreen.
On HTC Desire and some others this doesn't work at all. Go for one of
the native Apps.

burst at the beginning of playback.
I read about a workaround (playing 100msecs of silence via the other
sound API) that might minimize this effect and I will play around with
it in one of the future version.

if these are on as well it shouldn't make any difference.
If you don't see the playback symbol, SqueezePlayer does not send
anything to your QNAP, if you don't trust that, you might want to force
close the App manually (In Android Settings under Applications).

I cannot reproduce this (neither using Android 2.1 or 2.2), my mobile
is having IP 192.168.1.112, here is my log

(no result, starting SqueezePlayer
(flattermann will know and answer here soon I guess).
If not - write me a mail to 'support(at)squeezeplayer.com' - I might be
wanting to implement that and you could then do some beta testing.
