increased 10%. Problem now is that it no longer picks up radio (Alien BBC) and can't connect to Squeeze Network - but I suspect that's a result of changimng IP addresses and settings more times than I've had hot dinners . . . . -- liffy99

I wonder if its because the SB3 in the kitchen is nearer the neighbours network (but that's where its always been and it used to be OK). I remember you can change channels somewhere but can't remember where - would that be on the router (BT Home Hub), NAS or SB3 ? -- liffy99

Presumably using the Transporter's DAC which I would assume is somewhat better than that of the SB3. Did you vere try running the SB3 via its digital output to another DAC before plugging that into your Arcam ? -- liffy99

OK - found the problem. No idea why but the IP address of my NAS had changed ! Only noticed when I connected the SB3 again and this time noticed that a 4 had changed to a 5. Changed the path to the web lookup and all is fine. -- liffy99

with increasing bit rates (normal 16/44 FLAC = 750, 16/44 WAV = 1400, 24/48 FLAC = 2000 approx). Over 1500 or so it seems to suffer. By the way, the files are streamed from a QNAP TS201. Is its 128mb memory a limitation here ? Fingers crossed . . . . -- liffy99

is emptying faster than it can be replenished. As far as I can see the only buffer setting in Slimserver relates to internet radio. I've run the bandwidth check on the SB3 - all 100% up to 500KBS. Bit rates on the 24/48 FLAC files are about 2000. Help . . . -- liffy99
