No it will not work on the TR-4. The reason being the heaters are wired in series-parallel and 6146s have different heater current characteristics than 6JB6s. I also can confirm Garys posting regarding Raytheon branded 6JB6As: they will not work as he indicated. I wonder if they are 6JB6s
