I have not had any luck with using the 6JG5's in place of the 6JB6's. I
could neutralization on 15 and 10 meters though I only tried a few RCA's and
No it will not work on the TR-4. The
reason being the heaters are wired in series-parallel and 6146s have
different heater current characteristics than 6JB6s. I also can confirm Garys posting
regarding Raytheon branded 6JB6As: they will not work as he indicated. I
wonder if they are 6JB6s

Guys, I came into possesion of a rather beat up C6 console. It has a significant dent in the cabinet. It looks by the naked eye that MN4 speaker cabinet is about the same dimensions. Anyone know if an 4 line speaker cabinet would work for a C6 console?
