I found that the K3, as built, was a bit better on 6 meters than either my Pro
III or TS-2000x. (A/B/C switching) I've since sold both of those radios. I

I had already ordered another from Elecraft a while back. I put it together
tonight and then ran the frequency counter test with the new probe
and it read correctly. I then did the various alignment steps around pg. 67/68
and they all worked without problem.

Yes, but it also prevents the TXEQ filter from removing LF trash
(breathe pops, mic handling noise) that false triggers the VOX. And
