I've always found that if you have a loud CW signal present, and you start
narrowing down the passband width just adjacent to them, you get clicks..
That's just codes little way of knocking at the door of the filter... Until
you get narrow enough, or far enough away from their transmission

May I ask why the LF response improvement was confined to headphones only?
The speaker system has its own amplifier and already has excellent low
frequency response.

regular. Usually I remove the power and when turned back on, it's gone.

Set PWR = 15W, then define actual TX power using MIC gain.

IIR may have some amount ringing. The disable IIR, go to CONFIG:FLx ON
(or any other filter menu) and tap 7 on the keypad until you see IIR OFF.

It looks like I'm not able to get RF power out on either ANT1 (28 Mc) and
KXV3 (XVRT-OUT) in FM Mode.
Receiving seems to be OK.
With the K3-Utility I enabled FM at FL1 position. FL1 is the KFL3B-FM and
set a dot at TX-FM.
Be sure the width of the FM filter at FL1 is displayed as 13.0

I run digital modes using a RigExpert Plus, LINE IN, set the Rig Expert

First, you need to select AFV. Once that is stable, go to dBV and you
will then read dB relative to the AFV level. If you go directly to dBV,
it is referenced to 0 so you get an over range.

A delay of its closing time or soft-knee behaviour would avoid this.
