Hi Group,
We currently hold various Narrow Band(450-470MHz) licenses. Since it is
simple we renew them as required instead of letting them expire. However, I
have come to understand that there is a market for selling them. Has anyone
heard of this and if so, where does a seller find a buyer?
To all who responded, many thanks.
It appears that company A and company B must understand the responibilites
of future compliance issues and be able to document the testing standards
used and revision dates. I did not mention CE compliance but believe the
above also applies.
Best regards,
Don

Dear Martin,
Barbara,
While not definitive I believe the scope section of the standard describes a
few likely devices. I don't have the standard in front of me, but seems I
remember seeing it that section.

Hi Group,
The unit I am looking at purchasing is from EMC Partner, model TRA2000 with
Surge and Dips capability. I am located in western Canada and have only
spoken to 1 user of the equipment in North America (has only had the unit
for a couple of months and has not used the surge function).

I suggest contacting ITL in Israel;
Does anyone know if there is a power factor correction module available that can
be fitted externally onto an existing power supply to enable it to pass the EN
61000-3-2 standard? We envision a module that would be installed between the AC
mains source and the AC input to the power supply.
Barbara,
A very rough guide might be to observe the 230 V on the mains and see if
your product causes it to dip a few volts momentarily (or do an analysis to
determine worst case dip and frequency of dip). If it doesn't dip at all,
you have no need to measure per 6.1.
If the mains voltage
Hi Barbara and group,

I am looking for suggestions for European standards with regard to ladders

Thanks in advance

Don's approach does seem reasonable _if_ you build a simple R-L network to
provide some impedance to the power mains. A good stiff supply might make a
product look pretty good. Another thought is to look at the mains supply
current for bumps and calculate what voltage would be created across
