Fortunately it's been awhile since I had to use rental cars agencies regularly,
but I don't like to rely on them unless I absolutely have to, so can't blame
anyone for not doing this.

I would like to hear what people have to say on all the topics I have seen
so far. This list would be far less useful to me if it is limited to BEV.
The possible exception is over unity. Those can be fun to watch, but
ultimately dismissing them makes sense as they are a waste of time. In the
whether it's the DIY and hobbyist nature of the list is what's unique and
what people want to maintain
That's what I'm here for. I scroll through any postings about production EVs.
Not that I don't think they're a good idea; they just don't interest *me*.

David, could we set a deadline on debating this issue so we can vote and get
it over with rather than rehash ad nauseum? Lately the list seems to have gone
far afield from discussing EVs. Dach.

I say Enthusiastic Yes! to the proposal. I came to the EVDL in 1999 for
help to get a driveable electric pick up on stage for a show. While doing
that (successfully thanks to EVDL folks) I decided that I wanted to build a
daily driver for my commute. I'm

Even if I put a deadline on it, I expect that people would still keep the
thread going for days or weeks past the
David,
I agree with your changes that would restrict the discussion list to
BEV's. I find it particularly annoying that there are a number of paid
industry propagandists that continually try to bend the discussion to their
benefactors point of view.

Interesting, while the current charter may have seemed obsolete a few years
ago, changes in technology make it now seem as relevant as ever. I think you
should leave it, though I really like the hobbyist aspect of this list. If your
goal is is that, you ought to make changes to reflect that.
Such as the guy that wanted to incorporate diesel? I don't remember the detail,
but while that turned my own stomach, I am also fascinated by the many ways in
which EV is done by hobbyists.
So while I agree with what are suggesting, it seems that the question is really
about whether it's the

Should the EV drag racing restriction be specifically mentioned in the charter?
It seems like something that goes out in the footer of every message might
warrant inclusion in the charter.
