Live update on 7.1 actually did a live update from an ftp server, but in
7.2 the only option is updating from CD-ROM. This is a step backwards.

The installation refuses to detect my DAC960 card and therefore can't find
my CD-ROM nor my HD's. I have downloaded the patch.pl file and copied to my
boot floppy. I tried 'F1' and then 'patch' or 'linux patch' at the 'boot:'
prompt all to no avail.

I just installed 7.2 and found that my /mnt/cdrom , /mnt/cdrom2,
/mnt/zip, and mnt/floppy are all locked! I checked the permission on the
/dev/XXX's and changed their permission. rebooted and still they are
locked. Anybody have any feedback would be appreciated.

If I don't put it, I can't change channels. The parameter is used by the
module tuner.o, when it is loaded. I don't think order of loading
between tuner.o and bttv.o is important, but I usually load bttv at
