Hello everyone. I am back with another question. Midnight is 8-9
months old. I have noticed the last 2 days that he is peeing all over
the house. Not like, oops it just happened but he is positioning
himself in places or over things and peeing on purpose. Is this a cry
for attention,
Sounds like he is marking his territory. There may be female cats in the
neighborhood going into heat. It is the right time here.
Get some of the spray feliway and spray it everywhere in the house.
Especially where he has marked. Is he spraying or just peeing?

This may sound stupid but how do I know the difference between spraying and
peeing. He still goes into his box but I keep catching him squating all over
the house peeing on wierd things. A dart board that was under my husbands
desk, my dresser, and this morning it was a comforter I had on the

Barring, of course, an underlying physical problem - you may want to combat
this on two fronts: First - you've got to totally get rid of the scent so
that he can't smell it so those places don't remained marked as a good place
to 'go'. (I've had good luck with 'urine gone'). Second -
Getting a cat neutered will often stop the spraying but I wouldn't
wait any longer, if it becomes a habit it may not stop. I have had this
happen with a few cats and they did stop after they were neutered.

If you can tell that he isn't spraying then I would
take him into the vet. He might have a urinary tract
infection and that is something you don't want to let
go. If he is spraying then I would get him neutered
as soon as possible.

I'm so sorry to hear this diagnosis. Did you talk to your vet about
steriod shots to help Rompi feel more comfortable? I took Michelle's
advice and began giving Spencer .4cc of dex daily, (my vet wouldn't
prescribe the combo shots that Michelle suggested), and it brought him

cancer. When an animal has another form of cancer, dexamethasone may make them
feel a little better because dex generally increases feelings of physical and

If it has been frozen it should be fine. Mine was reconstituted, thawed, and
in the fridge. Do you think it is ok to use it? Hideyo thinks it is, but
when I got it from the vet in MA he told me that it was only good for 3 months
in the fridge and for 24 hours out of the fridge. Not sure

with a definite cataract. He does not appear to have discomfort from it
though. He is still getting the Trusopt for Glaucoma and the chloramphenicol

do it in such a way that they only need a very very small amount to
