Hi everyone:
I just joined up, this is my first post. To be brief, I volunteer at our
local animal shelter, and just adopted a FeLeuk+ girl. I have worked
with them at the shelter, but never had one in my home, so I joined up
to get some tips and help, when I need it. She is about 2 years of age,
I am fostering to adopt two positive cats for our Animal Shelter,
so as I said in my intro, I am new at this.
I just noticed today that Raja has uneven pupils. I know this is
not uncommon for these cats, but I was wondering if it is a
random thing that happens, or if it is indicative of the stage
Thank you so much for the quick answer, Lance. It’s wonderful to have
that worry alleviated so soon.
I will try those foods, and the web site. I’ve seen Tiki Cat, and it does
look delicious!
Thanks again-Chris C.

It's always a good idea to discuss any symptoms with Raja's vet. They may want

Do cats with this have problems with their anal glands?
I'm sorry for your loss.

That is a good idea, if you are sure the cat is fine. Where I live
(in WI) the animal would have to be quarantined for 10 days,
with three vet visits-one at the start and the end, and one in
the middle. Pain in the butt!

That’s a great site-thanks!
I’ve been feeding mine Tiki Cat, and I was wondering...in
looking at it and reading the ingredients list, wouldn’t it be
a lot cheaper and just as good to boil some chicken and add
a cat vitamin?

I don’t have anything to add to the good advice you have already gotten,
but am sending good energy to all involved. Please let us know how
things go.

My FeLeuk girl has been pretty asymptomatic for quite
a while. Now she is starting to wet the bed. Has that
happened to any of your guys, and if so, what does it
mean?

At the Shelter where I volunteer, they find that rehydrating a
cat by giving sub-q usually perks up their appetite.

Hi
You can get DMG without a prescription at Amazon, and
I imagine many other places. That's where I get it.

Just saw your post here and
CW only accepts cats from Shelters, not individuals,
unless the owner of the cat dies. It’s a great place, though.
I took a cat from our Shelter there last summer and got a
tour. The ladies running the place are extremely dedicated.
They have had FeLeuk cats there live a good life, to their
teens.
I’m so sorry.

My FeLeuk girl sees an integrative vet, who practices both
holistic and traditional medicine. She gets bicom treatments
from her, as well as various holistic medicines. She is stable

better care for her than she would get from a
