I doubt a plug-in could change the menu

It seems as if they've tried to be obtuse. I quite agree that anything

So true, David. Finale's versatility, the main draw for most of its

I often get double copies of hairpins and slurs when copying. I don't

I have Flute 1 and Flute 2 on the same staff in the score, set to use

The problem is the oboe cue. It appears

In my view, neither one is wrong. However, the context within which the
fragments occur might make one a better choice than the other. My
general rule of thumb is that the most critical information should be

Thanks! That was it, I had to NOT have anything in Layer 1. I did go
back and enter whole rests as expressions (auto-placement, gotta love
it!) and I did also have ONE note infringing on a measure with real
notes, but I entered it as an expression and all was well. I could

i find in the bottom one, graphically speaking, you don't notice the
displacement as much; in the top you notice it twice very obviously.
it also looks to me like you could shorten the stem of the middle
voice and have almost no (maybe none) horizontal displacement on the
1st beat.

There are unfortunately many bugs (not undocumented behaviour, but
just bugs) in dealing with accidentals in non-key-signature parts. I
have come across some passages where it is simply impossible to have
the accidental appear correctly, unless I re-enter the measure and
