Jef,
No one would disagree with the sentiment upon which you base the question
why not just do it right from the beginning?
The problem only becomes evident when one considers the number of times
different individuals, whether or not on this list, cannot agree upon
what exactly what is invo
I would note, though, that Jef is not correct in his reply to
George; the work-around George devised, showing the brace on one
system, and stretching it to appear to create a group with to
measures of the same staff on separate systems, will work in page
view, and might be a good alternative
Friends:
I wrote to George, in part:
if you want to email me a copy of the file, I'll be happy to see if I

Since I always check my personal email before I check mailing list

I removed optimization/optimized staves/put brackets on all single
staves which were already there since it's for single stave
guitar/used Ctrl-Shift to highlight all the staves except for the
one at the bottom of the page/stretched it up to the next staff to
connect the two staves.
nope.
Thanks so much to Shirling & Neueweise, David Bailey, and Noel Stoutenburg for
their help to resolve my piano bracket problem.

You need to add a second staff to each system. Finale treats each staff
in a single-staff score as its own system, and you can't put brack
h piano brackets, then delete the
piano brackets that I don't wan't. I'll send you the page directly since
I don't think I should send it on the forum.
Thanks,

I agree with you concerning the right bracket but, it's a must in
this case since the customer wants it that way. I'd rather let it go
and do it his way.
