Haven't been able to discover how to notate a series of repeated eighth
notes. What I want to see on the page is a half note with a slash through
the stem, indicating 2 beats of repeated 1/8ths.
Is my only option to enter a half note, then go back and put a slash thru

The Edirol keyboard in question does not have any built-in audio. Yes,
latency w/MIDI Thru on is an issue, but it's much less of an issue in
OS X, especially if you have a decently beefy machine.

one is using Finale2004 for OS 9. The overwhelming consensus on this
list is that Fin2004 for OS 9 is virtually unusable and was a waste of
