thanks to Martin's advice I was able to proceed a bit with the update,
but now I definitely stuck with a conflict between kdeutils3-ssl and

You were right, after removing freetype-hinting, freetype-hinting-bin,
freetype-hinting-shlibs the update went through without problems.
By the way, I had encountered a similar problem with eel2-2.0.8-2 in the
