I'm using Fop version 0.20.1 to generate pdf reports on the
fly.
I use IE 5.5 SP 2 and Acrobat Reder 5.0 plugin to see the
reports denerated on the server.
Anybody knows how can I disable the save button on Acrobat
Reader?

http://xml.apache.org/dist/fop for downloading and testing.
It is planed to make the actual release in about two weeks
if no serious bugs show up.

You have to disable it by setting some PDF flags. This is
related to PDF security. It can't be done directly from
FOP, you'll have to postprocess the generated PDF with

I don't think you can disable save button using iText. You can only disable
copy, print buttons. Sometime back I was looking for this and found
Bruno(iText) saying that this button is not controlled by PDF stream.
But as JP suggested, if you are interested in disabling print button afte
FOP
You can disable the entire tool bar using iText including save button (thus
you can remove all buttons.)
