then the MIF method may be the easiest way to go.
If you had renamed the chapters from the book the cross-references would have
been automatically recreated and it would have saved you all of this work.

I have found a work around though - which is to print to file targetting a
different printer (ie. not Adobe PDF) - and then running that file through
distiller.

the colored heading row but without the heading row. Then apply this format to

We had the same problem, pasted text from Word going into an anchored frame,
until we noticed the 'other' right-click paste option "Paste Special."
This option presents a new menu of what the Special represents. Select Text and
it should work.

Running into a wierd problem which seems to only appear on one or four systems.
All four systems running Acrobat 8.1.1 on Windows XP SP2. PDFs are being
created from FrameMaker 7.2 with Distiller 8.

I erred in saying nothing changed on my system. Monday morning I finally

I just tested this by inserting a PDF fillable form in a PDF created from
FrameMaker.
All of the fields of the inserted form are accessible, as if the form was
standalone.
