xorg 7.3 module vesa does not exist

I am trying to setup a workstation with 7.0-BETA1.5, xorg-7.3_1, gnome2-2.18.3., and openoffice.org-2.3.0. I installed openoffice via pkg_add -r. Everything installs correctly, however, when I try to run openoffice.org-2.3.0 after the install I get the following: %openoffice.org-2.3.0

I don't see a --verify switch on cp, so I presume it does not. Is there an automated way to ensure a copy has gone well byte-for-byte without writing a script to filter diff? I want to be relatively sure my family pics are in the destination and not currupted before I wipe my flash card - got

Hello: I am still having resolver problems with my 6.2 system. It has shown up with trying to install ports from the ftp site. I discovered that there is no resolv.conf file, so I created one. The funny thing is if I ping one of my web sites with www.domainName.com ping can't resolve the address.

Hi John, Check out ixsystems.com. They build and support servers particularly for FreeBSD (and other lesser unix-like OSes) and are competitively priced. The pre-sales engineer I talked to definitely had a clue so you should be able to make a good decision before you give them any money.
