There was a period when there was a bug in dev/std{in,err,out}, which
amongst other things made it impossible to complete a buildworld.
Compile a new kernel (past r224842), boot to that kernel and rebuild
world, that should work. For details see UPDATING r224875.

I am trying to configure my ntpd to sync my computer clock, but I can't
figure ut how to do it. I don't want to use ntpd -q and just sync it on
computer startup, because the clock drifts too much.

The Intel PRO/1000 pci-e is supported afaik. It uses the em driver,

It's kerberos5. If i remember correctly it's installed by default if
you havent added NO_KERBEROS to make.conf, see make.conf(5)
