Are they all going to be running FreeBSD, or do you have a mix of 'nix's

The automounter for osx for example is incompatible with FreeBSD's
automounter. I can't speak for Linux, but the possibility exists.

I'm trying to bring a FreeBSD server up in a mostly Solaris environment,
and am currently arguing with amd. The Solaris systems share an NIS
map (auto.nfs) that looks like
users host:/mountpoint/something/&
which gets translated (somehow) by the Solaris automount to look

to get automount to do the same as I had with autofs. I figured I

know if it's worth spending another few hours trying to get
