I think that FreeDOS is a funny project and I like it. On rare occasions I need it for BIOS upgrade on Linux boxes. But frankly unless you have some unique binary software that only runs on DOS, Linux is a far better choice on any hardware made the last 20 years. Not necessarily the heavyweights l

I've been playing with Balder 1.0 and customized it to my likings, no problem. However then I decided to clean up a bit and move all files but command.com, fdconfig.sys and autoexec.bat to a subdirectory name fdos (A:\fdos) and edit fdconfig.sys to include A:\fdos\ in front of all drivers/programs.
