would be needed to work with it.
This only applies to versions of OS X older than 10.5, maybe 10.4.

on her Mac, and 10.3 is a poor match for
ANYTHING these days since MANY programs require 10.4 or better. There
were enormous changes made 'under the hood' between 10.3 and 10.4
