Hi Josh, Professionally speaking C++ has many more advantages for game programming. Better documentation, more pros use it, extremely flexable, more widely supported, and so on. VB 6 documentation is crappy at best, not widely supported by pro game devs, and unlike C++ is pretty propriatary.
