Hi Willem, Oh, absolutely. I agree with you. I am also a fan of open source for exactly those points you made. With Linux software upgrades are simply just upgrades. Open Office, for example, has the same relative interface it always has had since 1.0. It has more features, several bug fixes, etc

I aggree with you on that. I personally thought the office 97 and later 2003 interface works out of the box. so does the win xp interface. ie 6 works well to well its interface does. But people normal people want fancy buttons and search boxes. If there was a way to run the older win interface
