If you listen very closely you might be able to tell if the pitch is a ball or

thing. If the tone is a very low or very high tone, it will be a ball,

Hi Josh,
Sorry but you can not change the sounds in the baseball game. And no I do not
plan to make it so that you can. I probably will also not be making another
version of football where you can add sounds to it either.

Hi Nicol,
Personally I don't think that it would help in batting practice to know which
pitch is coming. My reason is that you will not know in the game, so it is
better practice to be more like in the game. I also do not at this point have
any plans for a new version, but if I do I will thin
Hi Willem,
A pitcher does not throw a foul ball. It is either hit by the batter, hits the
batter or is called by the umpire as either a ball or a strike. It is a strike
if it goes over the plate and is not lower then the batters knees or higher
than the letters on his jersey. Oh yeah there i

Personally I don't know much about baseball, but one thing I've noticed, is
that when you are batting, and the pitcher throws a fowl ball, the ref
counts it as a miss for the batsman. I'm not talking about when the batter
hits the ball fowl.

Hi all
I enjoy the baseball game a lot. The sounds makes it feel like a real
contest.
There's just a couple of things I noticed.
First, I would like to make a suggestion, jim.
When I'm having a practice round, don't you think it will help if the type
of pitch throw is announced?
If I know that

Hi Bean,
I tried to have the game be from the batter's perspective. I think that it is
fairly close except that the pitch should come from more like the center rather
than from all of the way to the left. I think that about 85 or maybe 95 is
correct as if you do not swing at the pitch it will
Hi Ken,
It is very difficult to tell if a pitch is a ball or a strike. The sound will
play at one of five speeds. Normal speed as well as one above and one below
will be a strike. The slowest and the fastest are balls. However this is only
just before the ball enters the batting zone as it
yeah it is, and I play it alot, cause I love me some baseball. Maybe Jim can
answer us to as if there is a point of view or not, who knows, only Jim
knows, lol.

Hey Al, well what I do is turn up my volume so that I can tell better when
the ball is about 85% to the plate, then I swing. Now I am not going to say
that I don't hit the numerous of foul balls, cause I do, but it works for
me. Also, I do a little bit of batting practice before each game to get
