Re: [Audyssey] issue when using the view command in mota
Greetings Thom et al. I've also detected hang-ups here, but not necessarily related to the view command. It seems to happen when there's a lot for the tts to say, and therefore, a lot of tts sounds in the buffer? Re: [Audyssey] issue when using the view command in mota
Hi Thomas, Instead of changing v, how about control v to look only in the direction you are facing? In the GMA engine you can have the function look for any key hit which stops the view function. You could also look for a specific key such as alt to stop the function. I think that would be preferable to a view menu. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Actually, your suggestion works tom, you just have to hold the jump key down longer and it doesn't hurt to be a little higher than the ledge. I was only having trouble because I didn't know you could hold the jump key down for a slightly longer jump. Re: [Audyssey] issue when using the view command in mota
Hi Liam, Just keep at and hopefully you will get it. Perhaps I'll have to move that rope a little closer to the ledge. This issue didn't come up during private testing and I wasn't expecting so many to be having difficulties with that particular ledge. Liam Erven wrote: I can't get jumping to work righ teither. Re: [Audyssey] issue when using the view command in mota
Hi, Technically, i am running Windows 7 beta now on one machine and Windows Vista on another, but I have confirmed CPU isn't the issue. The problem is DirectX doesn't release the tab key when Windows wants it when switching Windows so there is a conflict with that key. The easiest and most practical solution is to asign the inventory command to something else like escape and put quit on q. That is likely how i will end up solving this problem in the patch I am working on right now. If you have a desired key suggestion for inventory let me know and I'll consider it. Am running vista though, but since I seem to recall you run vista as well, I doubt that's it either. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org.
