I have gravity stations on 4 different lines in my geodatabase, and by lines
I mean datasets, stored in one gdb. I want to use a different symbols to
display the stations on each line so I can tell which stations are coming

where I have Bouguer data, and I used Oasis montaj software, and as you know
when you gonna use HG filter you have to enter angle from + X axis, I tried
different values from 0 to 270 degrees but I did not get map
You can calculate X and Y derivatives using Magmap. The the horizontal
derivative (or gradient) is dH= SQRT((dx*dx)+(dy*dy))
You can also install USGS-GX
http://pubs.usgs.gov/of/2007/1355/
and use Jeffrey D. Phillips modules to get Horizontal Gradient directly.

Geosoft Oasis Montaj. It took over 3 days to create the terrain correction
grid. Once it was done, it locked up my computer for another day and I
finally had to shut it off. The TC grid is about 250 megs but if

Dear all
Does anyone know where I can find the books or data I can download that
explains magnetic data, i.e. what analytical signal is, reduction to pole,
first vertical derivate etc. and their importance. Your help will be highly
appreciated.

unfortunatley using any of the pop up menus in active channel on the database
doesnt record actions in the script files , I have been advised in another
forum that the only way I can get channels to plot after loading is to use a
preivously saved view and execute the saved vi
amp; dlls etc installed in the right directories, and putting in the new paths in
the environment variable settings in Windows but I'm not sure if this last step
was needed as long as the new Gx & dlls etc were all in the right places.

I know this is an old question and hopefully you have figured out something to
work for you. But you shouldn't need to set the min and max extents of your
data in the dbview. If you save a view, the text file will have lines like
"EDB_PROF_YMIN","-5"
but if you just delete those lines from your
morning, please i need a help to remove some whites lines appearing on the grid
of my aeromagnetic data.i have found how to remove it but it does'nt goes. and
im trying to attach the grid and it also does't goes.

Are the white lines due to the fact that the blanking distance in the grid
process is shorter than half the flight line spacing? Increase the blanking
distance or let it blank.
