I am using GIMP 2.6.4 on Windows XP.
Thanks,

you will only have one or two backgrounds to work with, it's not that bad.
The solution I like is to make something that is legible in IE, and looks
right with a real browser.

file for me to delete. I have uninstalled GIMP and removed the obvious
GIMP-related directories prior to reinstalling. Nothing that I have tried
will cause GIMP to pickup the updated font file.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm suspicious this has to do with being on Ubuntu 9.10 64bit. I think those

Basically it seems that it's either not copying the new selection correctly or
it's stuck pasting the old image from the clipboard.
Anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong?
Cheers.

I recently needed to make a blank sheet w/ 1/4" tick marks around the
edge of a paper, it was for one of my daughter's geometry
assignments. I thought it might be possible to do that with the grid
plug-in. Anyone think of an easy way to do that? I finally just drew
them manually using a snap to

a binary file (ie .gif, .jpeg or .jpg) you will be able to
open it in Gimp or a browser.
Good luck!
