Using WinXP SP3. Downloaded and installed gimp-2.6.8-i686-setup.exe. When trying to open it I get GLib-ERROR**:This version of GLib requires NT-based Windows. I have never seen this problem before. How do I get gimp to run on my computer? Thanks, Nathan PS. Previously posted to the wrong forum. --

I am following up on my earlier post. I increased the tiff file size to about 380MB by increasing the picture size and resolution. I then saved it as a jpg which resulted in a file size of 73MB. I closed the Gimp, re-opened it and opened the 73MB file. It was very slow on an 800MHz Duron with a
