Please stop replying to these. I hate that I'm doing so just to complain,
adding to the problem, but when these pop up I tend to promtly delete them.
The last thing I want is to have them brought back into my inbox because
somebody had something to say about it. It happens just about every time.
From what I understand, Metamod and Sourcemod are broken with this update.
If when you say clean install you mean also not running either of those
two, you may want to just try downloading it again, There are running
servers out there with the update.

Agreed. My server goes absolutely crazy on the start of a round, the end of
a round, and when the control point changes ownership when bots are present.

If I recall correctly Valve actually does run a few TF2 servers, alongside
the official L4D servers as Matt mentioned.

Sadly this would remove the ability for people to run a server with plugins
through their client. I've done this in the past to host a LAN game using a
few plugins to play some of the gametypes people have created. While I agree

Setup extra servers with no plugins that are locked and just say to go to
the new IP address at x.x.x.x.
I think that would probably be the best solution. It'd be the quickest, most
straightforward way to move the server without relying on using 2 IPs where
one is going to eventually disappear.
Nice, I'm eager to get this set up and running.

It's certainly an interesting thought, but I'd have to say it won't.
With another year comes new tech, new components, a new way of doing things
more efficiently. L4D2 will probably do things serverside in a different way
than L4D did.
