It has been a while like that. To avoid issues with that somewhat broken status
list I wrote my own plugin for a status list (although there are some
downsides):

I don't know of any way to disable the extra models server-side, but you can
tell your players to use cl_minmodels 1, that way they see just the one
model type per team. Maybe that will help out your 'lag' issue some.

OK, after a few tests... I am not seeing any difference in CPU usage between
sv_turbophysics on or off.
I forgot to mention one thing... mp_autoteambalance. This cvar is also
missing in DoD:S.

Serverdoc is another tool you may wanna take a look at -
http://www.serverdoc.com - I use firedaemon to run serverdoc as a service
process, which in turn spawns srcds.exe - serverdoc will restart instances
that freeze/hang as well as just crash. Worth a look at.
