Joshua,
We use the Barracuda and have been very pleased with it. However, it only
scans incoming emails. They might have a version that does outgoing, but I
am not familiar with it.
Also, I have talked with support both via email and phone and they have been
very helpful with any issues I have
We use ASPMail to send some HTML emails and it works just fine. I will try
to find a sample to send.

Hello All,
We have a user we are moving to our services, but they want to be able to
have all of their current messages still available via webmail. They use
outlook at the office, but webmail at home and I need a way to pop their
current emails into the Imail server on our server.
Is there an
directly.
How common is this? If they port scan they are going to get a hit, I have to
keep outside SMTP access to iMail for my users. Do I have this setup wrong?
Thanks,

I will second that as we use the Barracuda 400 system and have loved it. We
still have Declude running for Virus filtering as a second level of defense.
We have actually disabled the JunkMail piece for now as we have not had time
to manage it to keep it running at its peak performance.
Thanks,
Hey Len,
I agree you have a great solution, but we chose to go with the Barracuda as
it allows users to set their own setting and view their quarantined email
via a web administration area. Basically we chose the Barracuda for the
many features it has that IMGate does not have. I do agree that
No reason to do that. All you have to do is make you MX point to the
barracuda, just like IMGate. Then the Barracuda allows you to tell it where
to send the email for that domain after it processes the email. So you MX
will point to the Barracuda for all domains and then when you setup the
Hello All,
Has anyone had any luck getting the LDAP queries to work with the Barracuda
Spam firewall? I have tried a few things, but am really not too familiar
with LDAP to know what I need to do to get this working. Any help or
assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

version of the Barracuda firmware provides many more options for working
with non-exchange-based LDAP. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet
though.

Grant,
Just out of curiousity, had you tried it with the earlier firmware version?

I have a user that is saying the same thing, though I have not seen it yet.
It appears that whenever he gets a message the size increases hugely! To
make sure things can be debugged, we are running version 8.13 currently.
Thanks,
Grant Griffith
