I check them daily and I don't think they have been on frequency
since the problem started. I'm not sure what atmospheric conditions
prevailed when you indicated they were back on frequency but I don't
they they have been back in sync at all.

I suppose I shouldn't mention this, since I was busy with other things and
didn't turn on the NRD-525 to see if there was anything to it, but I did have a
het last night on KOKC-1520 on the SRF-59. I thought I might check to see if
anyone else was hearing unusually strong TA reception, but

You may be right. It may have been cx and the KLFE signal was not
present strong enough to put out the het. KLFE is not directional this
way and for years I never heard them often. It was easier to hear WAKR.
But I had to make changes in the Eastern beverage, and I started hearing
KLFE more
