Definite country music at 8:57p PST and news at 9:03 under CKWX but
the total disappearance between these doesn't give me anything
specific to log. I will try again in 48 minutes.

I just ordered an SRF-59 through Sony ($16.27 after tax, but no
shipping). You have to go through a few pages to get where you can
order it. I did notice an HD radio model for sale. I thought their
accompanying marketing strategy was novel: Hear what's between the
stations... HUH?

site,
it is manned from 9pm-3am EST. And finally, it should come as no
great surprise that it has already been logged out west (in OR) by
Steve Ratslaff. You will be pleased to know that LYQ is not
installing IBOC.

for muzyka na
Russkaya Mizhnarodnaya Radio at 04:30. Easy to follow and little
splatter. It's especially good now. Absolutely no sign of Virgin
or Spain.
I am mystified why neither of you mentions any interference from
KWMG-1210. They have to be right in your face!

Is KWMG running IBOC?
Don't think so. Bareback, I get Vancouver fine on 1200 and Palo Alto/
Salem on 1220 without any problem.

Robbie,
That's KBHB in Sturgis SD with 25kw and they have a nice fat signal.
I QSL'd them out here through KGO a few years ago. Any interference
from the new CO station on 810 or from WHB in Kansas City?

. This is fine but since the 1620 I was listening to
almost certainly was KOZN Bellevue/Omaha, how in the world am I
getting VT spots on a NE station? The signal was rock steady for
about a half an hour.

of the possibilities others have cited
but when KOZN says it wasn't even carrying this game, that arouses an
immense amount of curiosity. Some of my listening was in the area
where US94 turns in to US494; KFAB and KXSP are quite readable here.

to happen, KYIZ-1620 seems to be on 10kw tonight.
It's hard to tell if the 1610-1630 splatter is IBOC white noise or is
just part of aggressive signal processing, but whatever it is, it is
wiping out those two channels.

Nick, just curious as to what splatter you are getting on 1215. There
certainly isn't much these days on 1220 so I am presuming it's all
from KWMG on 1210.

Walt, I believe CKXR is switching to FM and should go off any day now
on AM. However, one of the Canadian AM-to-FMers has requested an
extension because of lousy FM coverage. They will build translators
to patch it up. Not sure it was CXXR but it was one of them.
