The TopAndBottom Alert default is set to off, therefore 0, by default, in JAWS10 and probably JAWS9 as well. it was not so set in JAWS7.x. Perhaps those experiencing the problem might check out the TSN you alluded to, anyway, and (if it holds true) change the referenced value from 1 to 0.
