Like most I had little enthusiasm for the game yesterday, a case of the team

are not a team and Hecky hasn't stamped any authority / personality on the

I thought we were better second half.
Altogether though you’d have to say it wasn’t the most awe inspiring
performance. Yes we won, but it was closer than it should have been against a
team that’s struggling in the bottom three.
I thought BPF was excellent again, I thought Pearce was good,
This is rubbish - Barnsley deserve equaliser. We are not a team , relying on

Well in my 40 years of watching Leeds I have seen some great matches and some
wonderful performances and I have had some cracking days out that will live
with me forever (or until the Alzheimers kicks in) - today was NOT one of them,
and I doubt if I will remember todays game by this time next
Phill - what Rich said - you need to read the report again - I was much ruder
about others than about Lucciano
Richard - yes, the goals maybe a short term problem, but the bigger problem (and
it reflects on Colin much more than Lucciano) is how having him in our team,
forces the team to play. We
I believe/would hope that a forward line built from Ross McC, Somma, Diouf,
Barkley
Sure that would be great, I love him to bits, but Somma is only just back and
hasn't really impressed yet and Barkley is only on an initial 1 months' loan,
so building a team around them seems a bit
Nick,
OK mate. I am just sick of Becchio getting lumped with the real culprits and
even Warnock tried to have a snide go at him.
I have read a fair few reports and comments about Saturday's game and the
majority are of the view that any forward of any calibre would struggle with
the service
Best footballer on the pitch at Oakwell? Norman Hunter...made a 2 minute
appearance at half time.
So, we were out played by the bottom team in the league...out played, outfought,
out thought, out manouevred - they had more corners (in fact I don't think we
had any), more shots, more shots on
There is nothing of substance I would take issue with here Nick but I really am
perplexed with you doing a Richard Walker and highlighting Becchio as a main
culprit yesterday.
I don't think Wayne Rooney or RVP could do much better with the service they
receive from the rest of the team. Just
I'm not sure Nick was blaming it all on Becchio just merely pointing out that
he had a stinker and the only way to play with Becchio as the main striker is
hoof ball. Playing the ball to his feet only produces hilarious results and
exposes his inability to perform basic footballing
Richard,
The midfield and defence were shocking yesterday but Becchio gets slagged off?

I would shift before him. Whether you like it or not he is a recognised goal
scorer at this level.

Bright start, decent atmosphere in the South Stand, Leeds well on top
though lacking any kind of a finish, Sam unable to even look like he could
go down the left and our midfield not really getting hold of the ball.
Once again we score 3 at home and fail to win (Pompey / Preston) and we do now
go into games thinking that we need at least 2 goals to have a chance of
winning. Yes it is not to everyones taste, but me I am loving it (on one
