Jerry,
I have not really been following this thread, and to be honest I am not sure
whether Search and Replace and Find work in the same way or not. But, you

It is my understanding that provided there is enough memory, which is
generally the case, it will run on any Windows Netbook.

Then, in Legacy Charting you want an Hour-Glass Chart based on you.

Hi Jerry
Can you find an individual that has an invisible date, tag that person,
and then export a gedcom of all the tagged persons data? If so you might
see the date in the gedcom.

I don't know how far along you are, but I would've started with the smaller

Why can't you just use tagging? Tag the individuals you want and then

Good Morning Michele,
As you well know, most folks start out in this hobby without any formal
training; just a curiosity as to where they came from. Thus, they start
collecting information. It is only after they are bitten by the genealogy bug
hard enough to take a course or join a list
What you say is true. I too did the same thing when I first started. I am
only saying that you should not add unsourced material to your file so I
think we agree on that! (You said, I am critical to those that utilize
information located from any source without verifying it for themselves.)

It worked! I tagged 3 generations and exported. The only thing that it had
to do was add the children of the one 3rd generation ancestor I am
interested in. if I had added a 4th generation, it would have added the
children of all of his siblings too so I didn't do that. I just went back

Michele, I haven't read all the posts yet, but are you doing a chart or a report?Sounds like a report, but can you get the info you need in the chart instead? And I think you can turn off the lines in a chart.
Or maybe turn off all the notes and sources in the report options when you run the
Focus group? (haven't really gotten the hang of those myself, but...)

If you use Legacy Charting you can create your chart from a GEDCOM file,
That's what it's called - an hour-glass chart! I could picture it in my mind,
but be blowed if I could think of what it's called!
The OP would need to base the chart on her uncle. I haven't really used Legacy

Unfortunately, an all blood chart is not possibly with most of the top

by feeding the proper information into an All-In One Chart they could be
created. Now I think there is only one program left and it has not been
