I see two things here: 1. The article/excerpt itself seems like it was tailor-made for the new Stories feature in Legacy 9.0. I would enter the entire sketch and use the Texas history book as the source. You can then share that story with all the other family members mentioned if you wish.

You don't source Names? How do you know where you found the name or the name variants? Yes if it only has the name, then you add the source to the name. If it had name and birth date, I'd add it to both name and birth date. The only exceptions for me is if I have a number of better sources for
