binaries using Qt 5.6.1?
I do not know if OSX needs such an update, but Linux does not. This is
one of the many ways in which Linux is not a piece of s**t.

I released a new installer versions in which LyX 2.2.0 is built against
Qt 5.6.1 and that includes updated versions of MiKTeX and JabRef.
(Also the user having problems with LyX 2.2.0 on Windows confirmed that
they went away after a reinstallation using the new installer.)
