I like to renumber my align numbers within frame. e.g., Instead of "equation 3", I essentially use them as "3rd line of equation on this frame" which makes it easy for students to ask questions and refer to the line number. I do this with the following LaTeX code in the preamble:

I use a lot of branches in my documents. I don't think many others do, so I'm not sure how relevant this will be. But occasionally I find I want to remove unused branches. Does anyone else come across this? It would be pretty easy to write a Python script that does this externally. That's my
