Hi. Long time no answer. Sorry. My computer system is 64 bit Window 7 OS My problem is described in here: http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/9486 In here, the writer’s problem is solved, but not in mine. What should I have to do? Reconfigure failed. Massage: The system reconfiguration has failed. Default textclass is used but LyX may not be able to work properly. Please reconfigure again if needed. In my opinion, the LyX doesn’t catch the Mitex with configuration error. And, I was trying to figure it out with compiling python, but I failed. Still need some help. Should be " \seti\end{enumerate}", shouldn't it?. Not with LyX's means. You need to use, as I have done, the package etoolbox, which provides the hook \AtEndEnvironment. But note that you will run into the same problems with nested lists with your approach. Jürgen

To set enumerate-resume only to parent levels where I need resuming. In this case to set the nested sublevels to normal enumerate. 2. To set everything, including the nested sublevels, to enumerate-resume. I tried both and both worked. I looked at the stackexchange link. I copied the necessary code into my preamble. But I don't know where to insert commands \seti and \conti. Especially \conti is problematic as I don't know how I can insert it between "\begin{enumerate}" and the first "\item" commands. I made a beamer minimal example file which I attach here. I have two levels enumerated lists, practically one first level in each frame. Could you please show me on my example file how and where to insert those commands exactly? Re: error in LyX with Turkish language using knitr
30/08/2013 18:26, Yihui Xie: I can reproduce the problem after I enable babel in the document. Normally I disable it because it often causes me trouble for unknown reasons. To disable it globally: Preferences-->Language Settings-->Language package-->None. Or disable it only for this document: Document-->Settings-->Language-->Language package-->None. Without babel, it compiles fine. From the top of my head, problems with turkish include 1/ in Turkish locale, `I' is not the uppercase of `i', because dotted and dotless versions of this letter exist. 2/ there is a common problem with babel due to the fact that the = character is made active. This breaks in particular the keyval package. See bug 2005 for background. http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/2005 JMarc

Re: Error in Lyx Sweave (Noweb)
I see. Thanks for posting the log file. This is a known issue and has been fixed in #7555: http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/7555 (right now I don't know when or whether it will be applied to the next version) The problem comes from the space in the path of your temporary directory, so LaTeX said: ! LaTeX Error: File `C:/Users/Muhammad Yaseen/AppData/Local/Temp/lyx_tmpdir.Hp3 972/lyx_tmpbuf4/sweave_example-007' not found. A temporary fix is to change your temporary directory to another place which does not contain any spaces, e.g. C:\tmp You can do this via the menu Tools-->Preferences-->Paths-->Temporary directory. You need to restart LyX after modifying this setting and make sure the directory exists. Re: Error in Lyx Sweave (Noweb)
Hi, You should not use the document class "article (Noweb)". Since LyX 2.0, you can use the Sweave *module* with any document classes, e.g. article. It seems you are using Windows, so you can take a look at the example sweave.lyx under the examples directory (somewhere like C:\Program Files\LyX20\Resources\examples). Sweave no longer depends on specific layouts. This is a significant change in LyX 2.0. Error in Lyx Sweave (Noweb)
Hi, When I tried to include an R plot with the following code into article(Noweb) in LyX 2.0.0 <>= library(graphics) pairs(iris) @ I got the following error message: {C:/Users/MYaseen208/AppData/Local/MiKTeX/2.9/pdftex/config/pdftex.map}] ! Missing $inserted. $ l.146 ...ir.Hp5960/lyx_tmpbuf2/sweave_example-007} I've inserted a begin-math/end-math symbol since I think you left one out. Proceed, with fingers crossed. ! LaTeX Error: File `C:/Users/MYaseen208/AppData/Local/Temp/lyx_tmpdir.Hp5 960/lyx_tmpbuf2/sweave_example-007' not found. Any idea to fix this problem. Thanks

LyX definitely needs zlib. About hashlib I don't remember where it comes from. /Konrad
