Yup. Same here. Works lovely in iOS but OS X iBooks is a useless waste of disk space. Someone said it could be internet issues but that's not the case here since speed test shows I'm actually getting slightly more throughput than advertised by the ISP. So I think they've just broken something.

If you can access the table of contents, I believe you must choose the page from the TOC in El Capitan. But, I forget how you get to the reading area. Before I went back to Yosemite, if I remember correctly, it would always skip back to a previous page where I had a book mark set. HTH.

Ah yes, that's another can of worms. I can use it with system speech from the edit menu, but Braille is now shot for me. It only navigates through one paragraph per chapter in Braille, but i can read the entire chapter with system speech. Teresa On the other hand, there are different fingers.
