Thanks for the response.
One more question, is it possible to access Vertical mapper's functions
through Mapbasic?
Regardless of the above question, I imagine that I'll be able to
manipulate/edit the regions drawn using Voronoi utility in mapinfo/mapbasic
to achieve what I'm after -
I notice when I Zoom in the mapevery time the
mapinfo will read the map file from the disk.
IfI copyallthe files to a virtual
disk which can be builtby dos command, will the display speed be
highed?
My mapinfo is running on WindowNT, so I can not
have a try, can somebody try it?

Juanse,
In terms of transferring the data from AutoCAD to MapInfo you do not
need a separate DXF for each layer, unless you have a particular
reason for separating them (e.g. minimizing file size). A DXF can
contain the data for all your layers in one file. The import

Is it possible to change the names of the menus ("table" into "tabell" for

Simon,
Absolutely. We have a developer kit which show you how to access our dll's
to perform your favourite Vertical Mapper function using the programming
language of your choice. Sample code is provided in MapBasic, Visual Basic
Delphi and C. For more information check out

I'm attempting to do a shade window command but am a bit unsure about the

eg. The number of stubbies it takes to get from Melbourne to Ballarat

Longer trips are measured in "slabs" or "cartons". A
