Apologies if this has been covered before. When digitising using a Calcomp Drawing Board 3 and MapInfo Pro 5.5 for Windows NT we have a problem with regaining control of the cursor. After entering our registration points the cursor changes to cross hairs within the map window but will not change

I notice when I Zoom in the mapevery time the mapinfo will read the map file from the disk. IfI copyallthe files to a virtual disk which can be builtby dos command, will the display speed be highed? My mapinfo is running on WindowNT, so I can not have a try, can somebody try it?
