the trans. The automatics are all the same (for the w123) gearing and
all the four speeds end in 1:1 gearing. The manuals differ from year to

I bought a Harbor Freight proper ball joint remover - it's too big. Only
the very edges catch on the arm - can't get much pressure on the tapered
shaft. The pickle fork works every time though - I use a 4# hammer :-)
