Yes that is right. Only I took apart the box, cleaned out all the old grease, and put in the Moly grease. I think I did that on the 300D about 10 yrs ago, and it has been troublefree since. I did the 300TE and 300TD before that, but both of them are gone, so I can't testify as to the

Craig, I don't know, but the size of the wiper blade might be a clue. At some point MB changed the wiper design which allowed for a longer wiper blade. My '87 uses 22 inch blades, if your '90 uses a longer blade (I don't recall if 23 or 24 inches) then it probably has the latter design which is

On my 124.193, the mono-wiper assembly was very difficult to open up, lube, and put back together. Basically the entire motor / transmission / linkage assembly has to come apart, so one has to carefully scribe marks to get the timing right during re-assembly. On the later cars, I think there are

You need to grease the oscillation mechanism. Remove wiper assembly, then remove the cover -- on some of them, you can remove the allen head screws on the windshield side of the "hub" and lift the cover, off, others need to come out of the car. Once you get the cover off, clean up the
