were using a 'trained' mechanic, then HE is the idiot!
It was explained to me, back when my tranny needed servicing,
that IF you take it out you ALWAYS replace those then-easy
seals

How did I guess? I suspect he has a video on how to hook up your MB
seatbelt. That said i find his how-to videos helpful.

I have a 126 manual, and I think they are posted somewhere. I guess I
could put it up on Dropbox or something and y'all could download it.
This stuff is not rocket surgery, the Germans actually thought about
repairs on these cars.

my work. I have found a Volvo mechanic that does a good job for me but he

If you're dropping the transmission, which one would have to do in order to
check the TC, you would also expect to closely inspect the front (pump) cover
as its exposed and easy to reach at that time. If there's the slightest hint of
seepage/lea
