Yep, that's what it was. The box it was built on had a huge value for shminfo_shmmax (apparently it was running oracle at one time or another). So for now the simplest solution was to rebuild the mm library on this particular target machine and then rebuild apache on that box. thanks

Hiyas.. Well I seem to have gotten mod_ssl 2.3.5 + mm 1.0.8 + apache + mod_perl 1.20 compiled fine and running fine without seg faulting or Buss Erroring on solaris 2.6.. So long has I define SSLSessionCache as shm instead of dbm.. defining it as dbm would make it segfault on USR1 or HUP signals

As I said in one of my previous mail, I used to get an error running 'make test' on mm-1.0.6 on AIX4.2, but when I . increased "#define MM_SHM_MAXSEGSIZE 0" in mm_conf.h to 32*1024 it seem to pass the test. On Solaris2.7 the test run fine without any changes. /Best Regards, Patr
