Hi,
someone gave me a Palm m505 recently as a gift. The software version on the
device is 4.0. I can attach the USB cradle and sync it with the Palm and
Mozilla Sunbird plugins over WebDAV. Everything seems to work fine, except
there are some problems with multiple-day events:

Hi everyone,
I've installed Multisync and want to sync the calendar in my Siemens S55
with Evolution. When I try to sync the phone with Evolution, syncing
starts (the phone says that a transfer is in progress), but then
suddenly the phone gives a low beep and switches itself off. It seems

Duncan,
thanks for your very concise information I have now been able to get it
working! The source of the problem was a TODO-item. I think it was too
long. It also had umlauts in it, but since other entries also have
umlauts and work fine it may be the size.

Hi everyone,
this question is not about a specific technical problem, but I'm seeking
advice on how the following can be done in general.
Currently I sync Evolution 1 with my Siemens S55 using MultiSync, my
bussiness partner uses a paper calendar. Now we're in the process of
changing to the follo

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to inform you that I'm currently in the process of writing
a MultiSync plugin for Mozilla Calendar / Sunbird. I write this post
because (a) you may be waiting for a Mozilla Calendar plugin (b) you may
be thinking about writing one yourself (so this is a chance to

Hi Todd,
the plugin is for Mozilla Calendar. There's only support for calendar
entries (I _may_ be adding support for TODO items later, but I will
probably never add support for the Thunderbird adress bo
Hello everyone,
a friend of mine is thinking about buying a new mobile phone (Motorola
V635) and wants to sync it using MultiSync. Does anyone have experience
with this phone, or with the V600, or other Motorola phones? What
protocol do they use?

I don't know about the GPE plugin, but the Sunbird plugin is in the

Hi Marco,
the Mozilla Calendar plugin (plugins/sunbird_plugin), which you can
download from CVS works directly with .ics files. It can use both local
.ics files and files on a WebDAV server, and should be able to also read
and write .ics files from other applications. It is not 100% finished

There is no graphical settings dialog yet, you need to use an
environment variable like this:
export MULTISYNC_SUNBIRD_CALENDARS=/path/to/ics/file.ics
See the READ
Set the environment variable MULTISYNC_DEBUG, as in
export MULTISYNC_DEBUG=1

The Mozilla Sunbird plugin (in branch_08X CVS) should work more or less
with Apple's iCalendar, because they use the same data format. It will
be ported to Opensync when Opensync has been released.
