I re-found the Barrow’s Goldeneye first located by Ricard Aracil off Orchard Beach yesterday, swimming with some Common Goldeneye. There were also a few Surf Scoter mixed in with a large raft of Greater Scaup. As of yesterday, the Pileated Woodpecker remains on Hunter Island. Jack Rothman

At least two Red Headed Woodpeckers at Turtle Cove in Pelham Bay Park remain. I saw two today at approximately 2PM. The birds fly in and out of the general area on the wood chip trail. If the bird is not present when you get there, give it some time, they usually show. Jack Rothman
