I remember seeing that before in prior attempts. Thank you!

I need help installing a fresh copy of Evergreen 3.4 on an Ubuntu 16.04
test server. I've done this from scratch a few times now, trying different
settings and keep getting errors. These are the basic steps I'm following.

Greetings, one of our libraries is having issues with Hatch on a singular
workstation, the rest of their workstations work without issue with this
setup. I'm waiting to find out if we can avoid the issue by upgrading the
PC to Windows 10 given that Windows 7 Microsoft support ends in January.
It's

moment.

I have what may be a silly question regarding the
/updates/manualupdate.html page on our local server which is housed in
/openils/var/updates/pub/ and references the 'VERSION'_extension.xpi file
in the same directory to provide download links for the staff xul client.
We are still running 3.1 and s

Greetings, I've run into an issue where the reporting module does not
appear to want to restart.
Reports are run on the log server against the replicated database server.
Normally what I do is:
- just restart it per

No, there is no /tmp/generate_fines-LOCK file.
Yes, I get a PID when running sudo pgrep -af fine

the fine_generator not running correctly, and yet, why did it add one day
and not all the days that were missing? And why are there no errors in
syslog?
I checked the open bug reports and don't see anything matching what I'm
seeing in this case.
Is anyone else having this
I'm trying to isolate an issue with our overdue fines not working. It seems
sporadic. There are no errors in the syslog, and the cron job is running
every 25 minutes without errors. Some libraries are reporting the fines not
accruing, but it seems hit and miss. I've restarted postgreSQL on the

Greetings again,
So I've gotten as far as step 13.1 on
https://evergreen-ils.org/documentation/install/README_3_1.html#__configure_the_apache_web_server
I'm at the step of creating the evergreen user *createuser -s -P evergreen*
- but each time I get an error---

So thank you for the clarification. I appreciate it.

So on Step 11 of
http://docs.evergreen-ils.org/3.1/_upgrade_the_evergreen_code.html - it
wants me to copy as root the example eg_start, eg_vhost and eg.conf files
to the /etc/apache2 and /etc/apache2/sites-available locations overriding
the existing files. Yes, I got backup copies of the files.

Is anyone else having this issue when running the make command on evergreen
3.1.1 as root?
When I run 'make -f Open-ILS/src/extras/Makefile.install ubuntu-xenial' it
attempts to connect to
ftp://mirror.datapipe.net/pub/CPAN/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz. as anonymous /
blank. When I manually open ftp to
set in the opensrf ~/.bashrc which it was.

Greetings, I'm working on a remote test server and it is giving me errors
as I'm trying to get OpenSRF to upgrade. So far all the forum suggestions
are unhelpful. Since it is a test server I'm tempted to just wipe it all
out and install fresh - what conf files are vital for me to get first? I
alrea
they're helpful.

This may be a silly question, but I'll ask it anyway. I'm hoping to find
someone that has done a relational diagram of the base Evergreen Database
Schema [it doesn't even have to be the most recent version] so that I can
better wrap my head around what is what and where it lives.
